Contest Rules & Regulations

  1. No purchase necessary. To enter the SPECTRO FACE TO FACE WITH FRIENDS CONTEST during the contest period July 1st, 2008 to 11:59 pm (ET) December 31st, 2008, visit the website at www.SpectroSkinCare.com and complete the required fields on the online entry form to gain one (1) entry into Secondary and Grand prize draws. Limit of one (1) entry, per person/household, per month.
  2. A random draw for the Grand Prize will take place in Toronto, Ontario on or about January 15, 2009 by an independent judging organization from among all eligible entries received. The selected entrant will be notified within 10 business days of the draw.
  3. There will be a total of four (4) random monthly draws for the secondary prizes which will take place in Toronto, Ontario fifteen days following the end of each of the following months: July, August, September 2008.
  4. PRIZES: A total of one (1) Grand Prize is available to be won. Approximate total retail value of the grand prize is $12,700. A total of (4) secondary prizes are available to be won. Approximate value of each secondary prizes is $200.

    Prize must be accepted in kind, as awarded and is not transferable. Grand Prize must be redeemed no later than: December 31, 2009 and the actual prize date is subject to advanced scheduling. No substitutions except at Contest Sponsor’s option.
  5. ELIGIBILITY: The contest is open to all residents of Canada, who have reached the age of majority in the province in which they reside by the Contest Closing Date, except employees of GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare Inc. (hereafter referred to as the “Contest Sponsor”), its affiliates, its advertising and promotional agencies, the independent judging organization and persons with whom they are domiciled.
  6. GENERAL RULES: By entering the contest, entrants agree to abide by the Official Rules and the decisions of the independent contest judging organization with respect to all aspects of the contest, which decisions are final.
  7. Before being declared a Grand Prize or Monthly Prize winner, the selected entrant must first correctly answer without assistance of any kind, whether mechanical or otherwise, a mathematical skill-testing question posed by mail, email or telephone. Selected entrants will be required to sign a declaration and release form confirming compliance with the Official Rules, acceptance of the prize as awarded, without substitution, confirming that the prize is not transferable and releasing the Contest Sponsor, its affiliated and related companies, advertising and promotional agencies, the independent judging organization and their respective directors, officers, employees, agents, representatives, successors and assigns (collectively, the “Releasees”) from any liability in connection with the prize or this contest. Declaration and release documents must be returned within the time period specified on the documents or the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected. The Spectro Face to Face with Friends prize delivery will be arranged through the Contest Sponsor or its agent within 30 days of completion of the above.
  8. All decisions of the independent contest organization are final in all matters relating to this contest.
    The Contest Sponsor accepts no responsibility for loss, damage or liability caused by or resulting from any prize or the contest itself. By accepting a prize, the winner consents to the use of his/her name, address (city and province) and/or photograph without further remuneration, in connection with any publicity carried out by or on behalf of the Contest Sponsor.
    The Contest Sponsor does not warrant that access to or use of the website service will be uninterrupted. Contest Sponsor is not responsible for any problems or damage whatsoever that may arise, due to failure of hardware, software, communications systems, or due to mistakes or errors of any kind.
    Entries generated by script, macro, robotic, programming, or any other automated means are prohibited and will be disqualified. Contest Sponsor is not responsible for late, lost, damaged, misdirected, mutilated, garbled, illegible or incomplete entries. Proof of transmission does not constitute proof of delivery. All entries become the property of Contest Sponsor and in no case shall be returned to sender.
    If a dispute arises regarding who submitted an online entry, be it for the Grand Prize or Secondary prizes, the entry will be deemed to be submitted by the authorized account holder of the email address provided at time of entry.
    The Contest Sponsor, with the consent of the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux in Québec, reserves the right to terminate or to amend this contest at any time and in any way, without prior notice. In no event will the Contest Sponsor be liable for more than the stated prize described in Rule #4.
    All entries become the permanent property of the Contest Sponsor and none will be returned. No correspondence will be entered into except with the selected entrant. This contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws.
    For Québec residents, any litigation or complaint with respect to the conduct or organization of this contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux, only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement.
  9. The Contest Sponsor respects your right to privacy. By submitting this form you are giving GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare permission to provide you with health information, promotional offers, and other relevant information.
